Thank you to everyone who is supporting us!
Thank you so much!
We’d like to offer our sincere thanks to everyone out there who's sponsoring us and companies that are supporting our challenge. Without all your help, quite simply this would still be a dream.
People
Many people have asked us if they can collect on our behalf and we shall be putting their names on this page when sponsorship is collected or specific donations made. We expect this to be a slow burner with perhaps more names being added after the main challenge, but there's no reason why you can't begin collecting now and get your name on here early!
Companies
We’ve emailed, cold called and politely harrassed(!) many companies for help. As with any fundraising event this is always the hardest task with many of them turning us down flat or not even replying to us. For those that have, this is very much an example of the manufacturers and companies working together to help us with the challenge. Their generosity and goodwill in helping us is just part of their professionalism and we recommend their services very highly!
Our title sponsor
We are very excited that Triumph motorcycles www.triumph.co.uk are supporting our challenge by loaning us one of their brand new Tigers! They have also been very generous in preparing our challenge bike and supplying their latest kit for the challenge!
Our executive sponsors
We are particularly grateful to the British Motorcycle Federation www.bmf.co.uk in providing us with a stand at their Bike Show in May and Reevu Helmets www.reevu.com have also been very generous in providing two of their fantastic range of 'rear-view' helmets. Our thanks also extend to Starcom1 www.starcom1.com who have provided us with their latest intercom systems. We reserve special thanks to Scottoiler (and especially Nick) www.scottoiler.com who were the first company to support us and show us that companies would take our challenge seriously. Scottoiler have worked extremely hard to support and publicise the 'Long Way up!' and we're looking forward to meeting them when we visit their HQ in Glasgow on Aug 22nd. We are also very grateful for the help and support of The Ergonomics Society www.ergonomics.org.uk and the Centre for Geospatial Science www.nottingham.ac.uk/cgs
